What a verification result will and will not tell you

MedNova Verify will not describe a medicine as “genuine” on the strength of a registration record alone. Matching a regulatory record and authenticating a physical pack are different things, and the platform reports them separately.

Registration Record Found: Matching registration information exists for the product details supplied. This does not by itself authenticate the individual physical pack in your hand.
No Matching Record Found: No registration record matched the details supplied. This may indicate an unregistered product, or a data entry problem.
Unable to Verify: The check could not be completed — for example because a data source was unavailable at the time of the request.
Product Information Mismatch: A record was found, but one or more details on the pack differ from the registration record. Worth reporting.
Pack Authentication Confirmed: Returned only where an authorised pack-authentication mechanism has confirmed that specific pack.
